The days leading up to Christmas were spent traveling and the same was true with the days leading up to New Year's. With the passing of my uncle right before Christmas, I think we all felt the need to be close to each other more than ever this holiday season.

With that in mind, my family and I decided to head down to our ranch to ring in the New Year. With nothing but each other to keep company, we all had a blast! Best part? My dad made us all breakfast in the morning. :)

 It's rare that we all get to spend quality time together, especially without the distractions of modern technology. There, it was us, the outdoors and God.
